Sustainability

We want to contribute to better taste experiences, with a smaller footprint.

Since establishing our first strategic sustainability goals in 2021, we have worked in a more structured and targeted way to integrate sustainability across our business. Supported by our GHG Protocol climate mapping, we have gained a clear picture of where we have the greatest impact and we have step by step integrated sustainability throughout the value chain, from raw material to consumer and customer, with the vision to “Through long-term sustainability, create a better tomorrow, every day”.

For us, sustainability is about developing better products, experiences and offers with a smaller footprint. We look beyond our own company, we want to be a force that influences the industry in the right direction.

Our work is guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030), focusing on the areas where we can make the biggest difference and dividing them into three main areas.

Sustainable relationships

Sustainable relationships are a key focus area for us. For us it means actively working to create an inclusive culture, where all employees feel valued and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through this focus area, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable and just world. Through collaborations and initiatives outside our organization, we can make a meaningful difference.

Sustainable planet

Our goal of contributing to a sustainable planet is about making environmentally sound choices for both our business and the world around us in the fight against climate change. We know we can, and we want to make a difference. Our climate assessment in accordance with the GHG Protocol highlights the importance of collaboration throughout the value chain. The mapping and monitoring helps us to identify and focus on the actions that make the biggest difference in our value chain, where we have implemented several initiatives and changes in both raw material and supply chain, production, transportation and customer chain that contribute to a more environmentally sustainable future.

Circular resources

Our focus on circular resource use is a concrete example of how we actively work to make our production and operations more sustainable. For us, it is partly about minimizing waste, and the waste that is produced must be converted into new resources as far as possible, we call it “One step further”.
